    I like the idea that large functions or reusable code is in plugins. But how is it meant in plugins like bootstrap custom header?

    For example there is a very special function rf_html_cover_class() I will probably never use. I wonder why this isn’t simply part of the inherent example template header.php.

    Or I found get_options_data(‘home-page-header’, ‘home-header-custom-css’, ”) which is really nice, but it is impossible to set the option using the plugin. Instead, the inherent options page is part of the child theme. Why is the options page split from the plugin that needs this option quite alone?

    Maybe you could explain why it made sense to put these functions and nothing else in a separate plugin.
